....I have also seen correction factors to account for the difference between types of dynos. Add up all of these different correction factors, which invariably add error themselves, and you've got an even better reason to doubt the numbers. I've never been on a chassis dyno - I prefer to tune at the track - but I suppose that the chassis dyno is a good tuning tool, as long as you stick to a *single* dyno. To claim high performance based on dyno numbers, however, seems questionable at best.
